The Art

This part of the world has been home to some incredible works of art for hundreds of years. We think this is because the sunlight seems to bounce off the water, lighting up the sky, the buildings, and bringing you some amazing sunsets. Monet, Picasso, Chagall, and Renoir all came to the Riviera to paint. You can see some of their beautiful pieces of work in the museums found nearby.

If you have the chance, why not make your way to the Picasso Museum which is located in Antibes, and the Foundation Maeght that’s located in Saint-Paul de Vence. Foundation Maeght is home to paintings by Calder, Kandinsky and Chagall, to name but a few.
