What a Citroen Jumpy has to say about traveling Bulgaria

Hi! My name is Jumpy, Citroen Jumpy.

My family is Val&Kar, but something happened last week. Something, I want to tell you about.

I was taken away from my family by Nina and Ellie. You already know them – they have this website and allowed me to post here. I was scared at first. They said we’ll be going far away from home and I didn’t know what to expect. But it turned out interesting!

First, we went for a photoshoot in front of Alexander Nevsky in Sofia. This is the best picture of me, do you like it?

In the middle of my photoshoot I met Elena and Ivan from Drumivdumi.com, Maria from TravellingBuzz.com, Todor from Kashkavaltourist.com and Geri from WhenWomanTravels.com. I heard that Julia and Criss from time2travel.bg, and Peter and Viki from 100obekta.com will be joining us later.

My new friends hopped aboard and we were on our way! The rain in Sofia caught us off-guard and slowed us down, but we made it safe to Veliko Tarnovo. Few more hours and we arrived in Balgarevo.

It was tiring. I couldn’t see far, but I made sure I took good care of my passengers. And they took good care of me, letting me catch up on sleep. It was nice.

On the next day the adventure began. First, they took me to Cape Kaliakra and told me the legend of the 40 maidens. That was awesome and it’s beautiful there.

After the cape I dropped them in front of a historical center. At first, waiting outside didn’t bother me because, you know – history is boring. But when they came back and told me about it I felt a little envious. I’m going in next time!

Then, they took me to this really cool place – Yailata and I saw some incredible scenes. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go in with them again, but I didn’t mind waiting.

My passengers made up for leaving me alone! After Yailata, they took me to Tyulenovo and allowed me to take a while and just admire the beautiful view! It was insane!

We headed back home to Levana Guest House and we saw stunning wheat fields on the way back. They even stopped to take pictures…

I am a Citoren, so my home country is France. But when we went for the sunset I think I may have turned Bulgarian… It was so beautiful! And I had a pretty lady that cuddled with me while watching the sunset *blush*.

When we woke up next day I thought it can hardly get any better. And I was wrong! Yay!

They took me to Bolata beach and maaaan! This is so beautiful! My travelers went kayaking in the sea and I was a little sad… I mean, I know I am chubby, but can’t I enjoy life too? So guys, next time you do this, I want a kayak too, ok? Don’t leave me behind!

After they were done, we took off to a festival (I have never been to a festival before)! I could only hear the music and dances from afar, because entry was forbidden for big guys like me, but my diesel got hot! I don’t recognize this music and I still wanted to dance my wheels off. From what I’ve heard, the festival’s name is “With Bulgaria in heart”. I think I may be Bulgarian…

When we finally left Kavarna on Sunday something had changed. My passengers weren’t just friends and colleagues from ASTOM anymore. I knew that I was traveling back home with a new family. It felt nice…

There was only one problem. Everyone was telling Nina to make a U-turn and go back to Kavarna. Nobody wanted to return to Sofia (and they all love it, mind you). But she wouldn’t listen! Why were you not listening, Nina???

Guys (not talking to you Sisters), if it was up to me I would have stayed in Kavarna… But maybe we can all go back? What do you think?

P.S. If you’re reading this and want to go somewhere pretty, talk to my family at Val&Kar and we can go together! I have room for 9 cool people and I don’t even eat much! See you soon!
